Who builds backbone FOCL in Kazakhstan?
SK Favorit Engineering is a full-cycle contractor for construction of backbone fiber-optic communication lines. The works are carried out by mechanized cable-laying columns with a combined capacity of up to 1 700 km of cable a month.
How many kilometers of FOCL do you lay a month?
Up to 1 700 km at full load of all five columns. A light column covers up to 30 km a day in category 1-2 soils, heavy columns - up to 40 km a day in category 3-4 soils.
Do you work in winter and in difficult soils?
Yes. Heavy columns lay cable in category 1-5 soils regardless of weather conditions. Laying depth is 120 cm.
How do you cross rivers, railways and highways?
Major obstacles - rivers, forest tracts, railway bed - we cross by horizontal directional drilling (HDD). Small ones - sidewalks, the carriageway - by pipe jacking.
What works does your license permit?
Category II construction license: utility networks, power transmission lines up to 110 kV and above, nationwide and international communication lines, roads and railways, special works in soils and installation of process equipment.
