Turnkey FOCL and GPON construction
We build backbone and distribution fiber-optic communication lines (FOCL) and GPON networks across Kazakhstan: mechanized columns lay up to 1 700 km of cable a month to a depth of 120 cm. A full ten-stage cycle - from route survey to handover to the client.
For an estimate, specify the route length, region, soil type and project timeline.

Rural internet: what it actually takes to connect
Route length alone does not describe a connection project. In three of our projects each household in the coverage area accounts for about the same 21–22 m of route, yet the work is different. A feeder line between settlements and a distribution network inside a settlement differ in volumes, equipment, logistics, and timelines, so a project is assessed by its mix of work, not by kilometres alone.

West–East backbone: what the build actually takes
Kilometrage alone is not enough to estimate a backbone build timeline: length sets the volume of work, while the pace depends on soil category, the number of crossings, logistics, and site conditions. A light column covers up to 30 km a day in category 1–2 soils; in category 3–4 soils heavy columns work coupled and together cover up to 40 km a day; and every crossing under a river or a railway is a separate operation. From August to December 2025 we laid 942 km of backbone FOCL in the ground: 577 km on the western direction and 365 km on the southern.

The essentials in brief
How long does backbone FOCL construction take?
Depends on route length and soil categories. Reference fact: 942 km of backbone in the ground were built in five months - August - December 2025, across eight sections of two directions.
What stages does turnkey FOCL construction include?
Ten stages: route survey, design, mobilization, staking, earthworks, HDD/pipe jacking, cable laying, splicing and measurements, as-built documentation, handover to the client.
What license is required for FOCL construction in Kazakhstan?
A construction and installation license with the relevant permit is required. The company holds a Category II construction license with a permit for nationwide and international communication lines; first issued 12.10.1999, the current license is published on the site.
Do you build urban GPON networks, not only backbones?
Yes. GPON networks have been built in the Urker residential area (about 100 km, coverage of up to 4 485 subscribers) and in Zhetigen - now Alatau (106,6 km, 5 130 households).
Can I order mechanized laying only?
Yes. A cable-laying column with its crew can be engaged for a separate section of the route - details on the Mechanized cable laying page.
